Black Obsidian Power
As I was adding some new products to the site, I had a strong urge to write this blog post.That is how it usually happens. I get that psychic nudge that tells me that it is needed.
This post will be about the mighty and powerful Obsidian. For the past 2-3 years, Obsidian has been showing itself in my life. When I thought I wanted or needed Onyx, Obsidian would always show up and say"Pick me!" I finally had realized why and I will like to share it with you.
When comparing Black Onyx to Obsidian physically, you may not be able to tell the difference. Both are beautifully shiny, sleek and dark black in color.
I guess you could look at how they are made. Obsidian is formed from molten lava that cools into a beautiful volcanic glass. While Onyx grows in the ground and has a definite crystalline structure. They say that Onyx has a duller finish. But when looking with the naked eye, it is really hard to differentiate at times.
Well anyway, both are great stones to work with. But my journey has pounded Black Obsidian into my world. I have said many times over, our stone friends often choose us. And black Obsidian has definitely chosen me.
Black Obsidian is a great protective power stone. It is said to have the power to protect its wearer from negative energy. It draws in the negative energy and transmutes it creating positivity for the wearer or the environment in which it is placed.
It helps you to feel more grounded. We know know how important that is in daily life to help combat stress and anxiety. It's a tough world out there! Obsidian can help anchor erratic energies. So give to to that person in your life that you would like to see calmed down. That could be you or another being that may be making your life less than perfect. I did say they are good protectors. They protect you from others energies as well by blocking psychic attack and negativity.Because of its ability to draw in negative energy, Obsidian should be cleansed regularly.
Obsidian stimulates growth on al levels. It brings clarity of mind and clears confusion. Sometimes we do not know our purpose. Meditation with obsidian can help you to find that answer.
Obsidian stimulates growth on all levels. It helps you to dispel fears and anxieties. Helping you to feel more confident to explore the unknown and open new horizons.
Obsidian is great to remove any personal limitations we place upon ourselves. This in turn helps us to truly get in touch with our true self. We are our own worst critic. We often believe we are not as good as we truly are. Obsidian will help you to see beyond this ill perception and be the best you can be. 
All the above is great! But the one special power of Obsidian I really love is that Black Obsidian is a natural pain reliever. I have tested this because I work out very hard. I have pains that come from being a small girl that lifts heavy weights. Black Obsidian will help you work through your physical pains and offer faster recovery. What body builder does not want that. What person would not want that!!
